SID‑3YL is an Inrush Current Suppressor specifically designed for switching protection of power‑system equipment. It features an independent dual‑system control architecture and supports either phase‑by‑phase or linked breaker control, enabling precise management of breaker opening and closing angles.

It incorporates an advanced online transformer residual‑flux calculation algorithm that automatically adjusts its control strategy based on the breaker’s actual operating time, effectively suppressing closing inrush currents and switching overvoltages while preventing protection misoperations.

Supporting Modbus, IEC 61850, and IEC 103 protocols, SID‑3YL provides powerful disturbance recording and event logging functions, allowing seamless integration with back‑end management systems. It is ideally suited for refined control of critical loads such as transformers and capacitor banks, ensuring safe, reliable, and optimized operation.
