SID-40A
Backup Power Seamless Transfer Device

SID‑40A Backup Power Seamless Transfer Device is a high‑reliability automatic transfer controller designed for backup power switching. It supports various standard transfer schemes and switch configurations, enabling millisecond-level fast transfer to ensure uninterrupted power supply to critical loads.

The device offers advanced intelligent functions such as fault detection and locking, healthy-phase verification, and voltage sag ride‑through monitoring, making it adaptable to a wide range of complex power distribution scenarios. It supports multiple transfer modes, including parallel, series, and semi-automatic, with built-in transfer initiation criteria and closing logic, improving the success rate of backup source activation.

Engineered with anti-vibration and electromagnetic immunity, SID‑40A supports mainstream communication protocols such as IEC 61850 and Modbus, and is well-suited for high-demand applications in petrochemical, rail transit, and power utility industries.

Main Functions
  • (1)
Supports 5 default automatic transfer schemes and typical 5-switch transfer combinations
  • (2)
Actively detects internal faults in the supply bus and blocks transfer logic accordingly
  • (3)
Multiple independently enabled and configurable switching criteria ensure fast and safe backup power engagement across different load types
  • (4)
Supports various switching configurations including parallel, series, simultaneous, and semi-automatic parallel transfer
  • (5)
Automatically selects a healthy bus phase during abnormal grid events to ensure reliable transfer success
  • (6)
Monitors undervoltage conditions and enables rapid return to backup source when brownouts occur
  • (7)
Supports various initiation methods such as manual normal transfer, abnormal condition transfer, and fault transfer modes
  • (8)
Enables coordinated and sequential actions across multiple units through fast transfer networking
  • (9)
Measures and records breaker closing time for performance analysis and optimization
  • (10)
Provides five analog startup criteria for abnormal conditions with flexible and independent enabling/disabling
  • (11)
Includes sectionalized low-voltage load shedding and fast auto-decoupling during loop closing operations
  • (12)
Features such as undervoltage, PT disconnection, phase sequence detection, and post-initiation acceleration alarms
  • (13)
Offers five composite switching criteria: fast transfer, voltage withstand, synchronization capture, residual voltage, and long-delay transfer
  • (14)
Stores extensive event logs and SOE data; supports export and waveform analysis via upper computer software
