SID-3510
Inrush Current Suppressor

The SID3510 Inrush Current Suppressor is GoLead Intelligents newly developedgeneration of phase control device.

It is built upon two of our proprietaryinvention patents and integrates extensive field experience from the previousgeneration SID3YL InrushCurrent Suppressor.

By applying precise phase control technology, it effectively suppresses bothoperational overvoltage and inrush current, making it widely suitable forswitching unloaded transformers, capacitor banks, and noload transmission lines.

For transformer switching applications, thedevice employs an advanced residual flux calculation algorithm that determines the transformers residual magnetism usingonly the controlledside voltage datarecorded during breaker opening.

Based on the calculated residual flux, thesystem applies an optimal closingangle selection algorithm to determine the target angle for the nextclosing operation.

This algorithm enables excellent inrushsuppression even in noncontrolledopening conditions, significantly improving field flexibility and overallinrush mitigation performance.
